This additional volume helps extend the system’s cooling capability during demanding road and track use, allowing the car to maintain more consistent charge air temperature control under sustained load.

On high-performance turbocharged Porsche applications, charge air temperature management is critical to maintaining consistent performance. During intense track sessions, the factory cooling water capacity can become a limiting factor, often requiring more frequent top-ups between runs. By increasing the available water volume, the Manthey Racing extended tank helps drivers spend longer on track and less time managing cooling interruptions in the pits.

The tank is engineered to integrate seamlessly with the factory Porsche charge air cooling system, increasing capacity while retaining an OEM-style installation approach. This makes it a practical and focused upgrade for drivers who regularly use their 991 GT2 RS in high-load environments.

Developed by Manthey Racing, Porsche performance and motorsport specialists, this extended water tank is ideal for owners seeking improved cooling efficiency, greater consistency and uninterrupted performance during fast road driving or track use.

More about Manthey Racing.

Further information below.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0276/7375/5750/files/manthey-racing-extended-water-tank-porsche-991-gt2-rs-7749247.webp?v=1793132064
