BMW M’s newest track weapon is here — and it’s one for the purists. Say hello to the 2025 BMW M2 CS, a compact high-performance coupe that combines GT3-inspired engineering with genuine road manners.

Aiming for launch in late summer this year, this limited-run model sharpens the already potent G87 M2 into a more focused, lightweight, and outright faster machine.

Heavyweight Punch with Racing Pedigree
At its core, the M2 CS retains the iconic 3.0-litre straight-six — but this version is tuned to a monstrous 530 hp and 650 Nm, backed by M TwinPower Turbo tech and real race-track heritage. Peak power is achieved at 6,250rpm, redlining at 7,200 rpm. This engine shares its bones with the M4 GT3 EVO’s powerplant, so you’re getting a high-revving, slice of motorsport under your right foot.
Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels via an 8-speed M Steptronic gearbox. The result? A 0–100 km/h sprint in just 3.8 seconds and an electronically limited 302 km/h top end, that's 188mph in our money.

Less Weight, More Bite
BMW has carved around 30 kg out of the standard M2’s body, thanks to a barrage of carbon fibre: roof, bonnet, boot lid (with integrated ducktail), front splitter, diffuser, and even the centre console.

The CS also rides 8 mm lower with bespoke damper, spring, and control system tuning for maximum edge on the circuit.
The optional M Carbon ceramic brakes bring stronger stopping power over the M Compound brake system, while the adaptive M suspension offers Comfort, Sport and Sport+ modes for tailored refinements whether you're on the race track, or your local B-road.

Track-Prepared Features
M Drive Professional includes drift analytics, a lap timer, as well as driving data monitoring to assess your skills out on the track. 10-stage M Traction Control provides the key to pushing the car hard.
M Mode is accessed via the centre console, adjusting the driver aids based on your driving skill.

Statement Styling and Driver-Focused Cabin
The CS cuts a menacing silhouette with CS-specific aero, unique grilles, signature red-accent badging.
Standout Gold Bronze 827 M forged alloys (19-inch front, 20-inch rear) fitted with an option of sport or track tyres as standard.

That ducktail spoiler? Not just a nod to the G82 M4 CSL — it’s functional aero in carbon fibre form.

Inside, it’s serious business. Carbon bucket seats, a red-centre-marked Alcantara steering wheel, minimalist carbon fibre trims and illuminated “CS” details all scream purpose.

Yet it retains luxuries like Merino leather, heated seats, and ambient lighting — because you can have race pace and refinement, too.

Colour Choices
The M2 CS can be spec'd in a range of vibrant colour choices; including BMW Individual Velvet Blue Metallic, M Portimao Blue Metallic, or more subtle options include Sapphire Black Metallic or M Brooklyn Grey Metallic.

Final Thoughts
The 2025 BMW M2 CS isn’t just an evolution — it’s a distillation. It takes the essence of what makes an M car truly great and packages it into a tightly honed, highly exclusive coupe. For drivers who live for the redline and crave connection between road and machine, this could just be your dream drive.
And with production numbers limited, it won’t be around forever.

We imagine the whole catalogue of BMW Motorsport Parts will become available to purchase in due course, which will be added to our already extensive range of BMW Motorsport Parts here at Clubsport Garage.
