Product Description
AST lowering springs for the BMW F87 M2 and M2 Competition reduce the vehicle's ride height while retaining the original dampers. Part number ASTLS-21-020 provides a stated reduction of 25mm at the front and 20mm at the rear. These are the front and rear figures for one matched spring kit, not independently selectable height settings.
AST develops its lowering-spring range for use with original-equipment dampers and uses cold-coiled spring construction. The springs replace the original spring set rather than supplying a complete coilover conversion. The existing damper hardware remains in service, and no additional rebound or compression adjusters are introduced.
The front and rear lowering figures should be considered together when choosing the kit. A fixed lowering spring produces the ride height associated with its design and the vehicle application; it does not provide the threaded height adjustment of an adjustable spring kit. The actual installed result also depends on the vehicle's original specification and condition.
For cars retaining their original electronically controlled dampers, a correctly matched spring installation retains that damper system. EDC coding or cancellation should not be treated as a routine add-on merely because lowering springs are being installed.
Check the exact vehicle application and original suspension specification before ordering. Installation should include wheel and tyre clearance checks at the new ride height and an alignment check. The product is supplied as the application-specific spring kit; it should not be confused with a set of replacement dampers or a complete AST coilover system.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
