Product Description

The KMP/Vantrex Heat Shields are a reliability upgrade for BMW G8X M2, M3 and M4 models, designed to protect the factory driveshafts and CV boots from extreme radiant heat generated by the exhaust system.

On modified BMW M cars, particularly vehicles running aftermarket exhausts, lowered suspension or regular track use, heat around the differential and rear driveshaft area can accelerate CV boot damage, grease breakdown and premature joint failure.

The KMP/Vantrex heat shield helps protect both driveshafts by shielding the CV boots and differential area from excessive radiant heat. Tested at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the design has shown temperature reductions of up to 90°C, helping improve reliability during high-load road, track and endurance use.

Manufactured from high-quality aluminium with a powder-coated finish, the shield also features an additional aluminium dome plate for improved heat dissipation. Designed as a direct-fit solution, installation is simple and can be completed in around 10 minutes using the supplied mounting hardware and instructions.

Damaged Shipments

Returns

Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.
