Product Description
The Evolve S65 VANOS Aluminium Covers, developed in collaboration with MR VANOS, are a precision-engineered replacement for the original plastic VANOS covers fitted to the BMW S65 4.0 V8 engine. Designed for the BMW E90 M3, E92 M3 and E93 M3, they replace a known weak point on ageing E9X M3 models.
The factory S65 VANOS covers can become brittle over time through age and repeated heat cycling. If the original plastic covers crack, loosen or break apart, fragments can enter the engine oil system and potentially restrict oil flow. In severe cases, this can lead to oil starvation and serious internal engine damage. As BMW does not supply the covers separately, the usual OEM route involves replacing complete VANOS units at significantly higher cost.
Evolve’s CNC-machined aluminium VANOS covers provide a robust, permanent solution while retaining the full OEM functionality and spring protection of the original design. Manufactured from high-grade T6082 aluminium and finished in black anodising, they offer excellent durability, corrosion resistance and heat resistance for both road and track-driven BMW E9X M3 applications.
Unlike some alternatives, the Evolve covers fully enclose the VANOS springs, helping protect them from debris while maintaining correct OEM fitment. Installation is a direct snap-fit replacement using standard tools, with no modification required.
Care should be taken when removing the original plastic VANOS covers, as aged OEM parts can become extremely brittle. Any broken plastic fragments should be prevented from falling into the engine, and the surrounding area and oil galleries should be inspected carefully before reassembly.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranty
Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty covering manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
