Road Icons vs Race Display – What’s the Difference?

The MXG 1.3 Strada supports both Road Icons (for road builds) and Race Display layouts. These are software-configurable modes selectable via Race Studio 3 — there’s no hardware difference.

ECU Connection – Why We Supply the CAN Loom Only

While Aim offers both CAN and OBDII loom options, we only supply the CAN ECU Loom.

OBDII connections don’t provide sufficient data for advanced functions like alarms, shift lights, or logging. The CAN loom is the proper solution for track and motorsport applications.

Mirror Cameras

Add one or two mirror/reverse cameras, complete with patch leads.

Extra Harness

A 23-pin expansion loom is available for builds requiring additional inputs or sensor integration.

SmartyCam Integration

Compatible with SmartyCam GP and Corsa models — available in various lens angles. Each kit includes a Data Hub and 4m connection cable.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

CAN-based TPMS kit with 4 sensors is available, allowing real-time tyre pressure and temperature readout.

ECU Integration – Fast, Flexible & Reliable

The MXG 1.3 connects directly to your vehicle’s ECU via CAN, offering clean installation and fast, high-quality data streaming.

IVA-Compliant Versions Available
