The Girodisc 380mm 2-Piece Floating Rear Brake Discs / Rotors are a direct replacement rear brake upgrade for selected BMW F8X M2, M3 and M4 models fitted with carbon ceramic brakes or the factory 2NH iron brake upgrade kit.

Designed as a direct replacement for the OE CCM disc, the Girodisc system bolts directly to the car with no modifications required and works with the original calipers. When converting from OEM carbon ceramic discs to Girodisc iron rotors, it is recommended to switch from the CCM-specific pad compound to a brake pad designed for iron rotors.

Each disc uses a lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminium centre hat paired with Girodisc’s proprietary cast iron rotor. The rotor features a curved vane design developed through racing to act like a centrifugal pump, forcing cooling air through the disc to help manage temperatures under demanding use.

The floating mounting system uses 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, allowing axial and radial float between the hat and disc. This helps the rotor self-centre between the pads and allows for heat expansion. Anti-noise spring washers are fitted to reduce the rattle and cold noise normally associated with floating rotors.

Sold and priced as a rear axle pair, these rotors allow the cast iron disc rings to be replaced separately when worn.

Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging.
