The Karbonius CSL Style Carbon Fibre Airbox is a premium intake upgrade for the BMW E46 M3 S54, designed to recreate the iconic sound, appearance and performance character of the legendary BMW M3 CSL. Hand-built in Spain from 100% prepreg carbon fibre and autoclave-cured, it is one of the most respected CSL-style airbox options available for the S54 platform.

Designed to improve airflow, throttle response and induction sound, the Karbonius airbox features internal carbon fibre trumpets, optimised airflow geometry and smoothed internal surfaces to help reduce turbulence. Depending on ECU calibration and supporting setup, the system can deliver appreciable gains in power and torque, with up to 25hp potential possible with the correct mapping.

Karbonius has refined the original CSL-style design with several performance-focused improvements, including enlarged 51.5mm carbon trumpets, rounded trumpet inlets and a redesigned sixth trumpet to improve airflow balance. The result is a lightweight, high-quality carbon airbox weighing approximately 1.7kg, delivering the unmistakable CSL induction roar while improving engine response.

The airbox is manufactured with CNC-machined anodised aluminium fittings, stainless steel hardware, a hermetic neoprene foam gasket seal and a high-gloss UV-protected carbon finish. Each airbox is individually numbered and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.

An ECU remap is required, and professional installation is recommended. Air filter sold separately.
