Product Description

The Genuine BMW Motorsport Rear Differential with Drexler LSD is a complete motorsport-grade rear differential upgrade featuring a Drexler Limited Slip Differential and 3.46 final drive ratio. Originally designed for the BMW F87 M2 CS Racing, it is also a significant upgrade for road-going BMW F8X M2, M2 Competition, M3 and M4 models.

Supplied fully assembled in its casing, this differential removes the need for machining your existing unit. Once fitted, filled with oil and coded where required, it provides a proven BMW Motorsport driveline upgrade designed to improve traction, cornering performance and power delivery.

The Drexler LSD is renowned for its motorsport performance and is used by BMW Motorsport for its strength, control and reliability under demanding conditions. The 3.46 final drive ratio offers a strong balance between acceleration and top speed, making it well suited to track, fast road and performance-focused builds.

For road model installations, coding is required to ensure correct functionality, and this can be carried out remotely. Road models also require LH driveshafts on both sides of the differential, as the LH shafts are shorter. Only one additional genuine BMW LH driveshaft is required to replace the existing RH driveshaft.

Please note: early F80 M3 and F82/F83 M4 models built before November 2017 with a carbon propshaft will also need to change to the later propshaft version, as the spline is different.

Damaged Shipments

Returns

Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.
