Product Description
The DO88 Performance Air Intake System is a high-flow intake upgrade for BMW F8X M2 Competition, M3 and M4 models fitted with the S55 engine. Designed to improve airflow, reduce intake temperatures and support stronger performance, it is a well-suited upgrade for tuned road cars, track day builds and performance-focused S55 applications.
The factory intake system can become restrictive as power levels increase, particularly on tuned cars where consistent airflow and intake temperature control are critical. DO88 addresses this with dual high-flow BMC cone filters, large 76mm aluminium intake pipework and an enclosed cold-air design that helps reduce heat soak from the engine bay.
The system uses heat shields and sealed lids to help channel cold air from the OEM intake ducts, supporting lower intake air temperatures and more repeatable performance under load. With supporting tuning, the intake has shown gains of up to 10 hp at the top end and up to 20 hp and 40 Nm through the mid-range, helping improve response and power delivery.
Developed using 3D scanning technology, the intake is engineered for precise fitment within the F8X engine bay. Its durable construction and matte black finish give the system a clean, purposeful appearance, while the improved intake path also enhances induction sound compared with the factory setup.
For owners wanting a more aggressive intake note, the lids can be removed, although this may come with a slight trade-off in intake temperature control. As a complete performance intake solution, the DO88 system offers improved airflow, enhanced sound and better temperature management for the BMW S55 platform.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
