Product Description
MOTON 1-Way Club Racer coilovers for the BMW F80 M3, F82 M4 and F83 M4 combine adjustable ride height with single-adjustable rebound damping. Three-bolt pre-LCI and five-bolt LCI mounting versions are offered, allowing the front mounting specification to be matched to the car.
Damper design & adjustment: The system uses MOTON's non-inverted monotube damper construction. Rebound adjustment changes resistance as the damper returns to extension after compression, providing a direct way to tune that part of the suspension response. Ride height is adjusted separately through the spring platforms. Neither setting changes the spring rate, and both should be considered alongside the wheel alignment and available suspension travel.
Mounting, supplied equipment & servicing: Springs and camber-adjustable front top mounts are supplied, with rear top-mount provision according to application. The camber adjustment acts at the upper strut mounting and is separate from the damper control. M 505 176SD is the three-bolt mounting version and M 505 177SD is the five-bolt version. Drop links are included with both kits. The dampers are rebuildable for servicing during their working life. Final ride height and alignment should be set together, and wheel and tyre clearance should be checked through steering and suspension movement. A correctly matched chassis application does not guarantee clearance for every aftermarket wheel and tyre combination.
Installation & setup: For cars equipped with factory Electronic Damper Control, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC when fitting non-electronic coilovers, where supported. A compatible KW EDC cancellation kit is a separately available hardware alternative. The MOTON dampers remain manually controlled, so neither approach retains factory electronic damping adjustment.
Optional MOTON Air Cup Lift System: MOTON specifies approximately 40mm of temporary front-end lift for compatible installations. The clearance achieved can vary with the vehicle and suspension setup. Select With Air Cup to include the MOTON Pneumatic Air Cup Lift System (part number 90AC-061-A3-022ST) with your selected coilovers. Suitable for MOTON suspension with 22mm damper shafts; confirm installation clearance before ordering. Select Without Air Cup for the coilovers only.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranty
Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty covering manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
