Product Description
The AP Racing CP9449 Pro 5000R is a high-performance four-piston forged aluminium motorsport caliper designed for demanding fast road, track day and motorsport applications. Developed as part of AP Racing's renowned Pro 5000R range, the CP9449 delivers exceptional stiffness, pedal feel and consistent braking performance under repeated high-temperature use.
Manufactured from lightweight forged aluminium, the caliper design provides excellent strength while minimising unnecessary weight. The CP9449 has become a popular choice across track-focused road cars, Clubsport builds and motorsport applications due to its proven reliability and excellent thermal management characteristics.
Available in either Grey Anodised or Nickel-plated finishes, customers can choose between a more understated motorsport appearance or a premium metallic finish. The Grey Anodised option is generally preferred for regular road and year-round use due to its durability and resistance to environmental exposure.
AP Racing Pro 5000R calipers do not utilise dust seals. This motorsport-focused design allows reliable operation at significantly higher temperatures than conventional road calipers. Vehicles used regularly on the road may require more frequent inspection and cleaning, particularly during harsh weather conditions.
While the Nickel-plated finish provides a distinctive appearance and is often selected to match existing brake systems, vehicles exposed to winter conditions, road salt or prolonged harsh environments may experience deterioration of the plated finish over time. For vehicles used regularly throughout winter or in harsh road conditions, we would generally recommend the Grey Anodised option.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty covering manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
