AST 5100 Coilovers – BMW E82 135i
Product Description
AST 5100 coilovers for the BMW E82 135i combine adjustable ride height with single-adjustable rebound damping. Rather than changing only the car's stance, the system allows the damper response to be tuned alongside the installed ride height. Springs are supplied with each kit, with Street, Street Performance and Club Racing configurations offering different mounting equipment and rear suspension layouts.
Damper design & adjustment: The high-pressure monotube dampers are rebuildable, allowing servicing as part of the suspension's working life. Rebound adjustment controls the resistance as the damper extends after compression; it does not alter the spring rate. Ride height is adjusted through the spring platforms, so the two settings serve different purposes when establishing the car's setup.
Configuration differences
The Street configuration retains the original top mounts and separate rear spring and damper arrangement. For this application there is a genuine choice between inverted and non-inverted Street struts.
Street Performance uses inverted front struts and adds camber-adjustable front top mounts, while retaining the original rear mounts and separate rear springs.
Club Racing uses inverted front struts, camber-adjustable front top mounts and solid rear top mounts. It also changes the rear arrangement to a true coilover, with the spring carried on the rear damper rather than mounted separately in the suspension. This is a physical installation difference, not simply a different damper setting.

Installation & setup: The supplied kit provides the components for the selected configuration; the final ride height, alignment and damper settings are established during installation. Wheel and tyre clearance should be checked through steering and suspension travel, particularly where wider aftermarket wheels are fitted.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty covering manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
