Product Description
AST 5100 coilovers for the BMW E82 1M and E9X M3 combine adjustable ride height with single-adjustable rebound damping. This listing offers Street, Street Performance and Club Racing configurations. Street and Street Performance retain a separate rear spring and damper arrangement; Club Racing uses a true rear coilover configuration with front and rear top mounts.
Damper design & adjustment: Each version uses high-pressure monotube dampers and inverted front struts. The dampers are rebuildable, allowing them to be serviced rather than requiring the complete suspension to be replaced when servicing becomes necessary. Rebound adjustment changes the resistance as the damper extends after compression, while the spring platforms provide ride-height adjustment. Changing the rebound setting does not change the spring rate.
Configuration differences
The Street kit retains the original front and rear top mounts.
Street Performance adds camber-adjustable front top mounts, providing an additional alignment adjustment at the front strut mounting. This is separate from the damping adjustment: both kits remain single-adjustable 5100 systems. The original rear top mounts are retained with the Street and Street Performance versions, and drop links are included with those versions. Because both versions keep the separate rear spring and damper layout, choosing Street Performance does not convert the rear suspension to a true coilover. The main purchasing distinction is the front mounting equipment. Final ride height and alignment should be set together, with wheel and tyre clearance checked through the suspension's working travel.
Club Racing – Front & Rear Top Mounts: The ACC-B1605SD configuration uses an inverted coilover arrangement with front and rear top mounts, rather than the separate rear spring and damper layout offered by Street and Street Performance. Select this configuration only where the application and mounting requirements are confirmed. Confirm exact accessory contents and installation requirements before ordering.
Installation & setup: For cars fitted with factory Electronic Damper Control, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC when fitting non-electronic coilovers, where supported for the vehicle. A compatible KW EDC cancellation kit is a separately available hardware alternative. Neither approach retains electronic adjustment of these replacement dampers.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
