AST 5100 Coilovers – BMW F87 M2 & M2 Competition
Product Description
AST 5100 coilovers for the BMW F87 M2 and M2 Competition combine adjustable ride height with single-adjustable rebound damping. Street, Street Performance and Club Racing versions provide different mounting equipment and rear suspension layouts. The configurations available are application-specific: the Street Performance kit listed here is for the standard M2, while Street and the appropriate Club Racing kit also cover the stated M2 Competition and CS applications.
Damper design & adjustment: The high-pressure monotube dampers use inverted front struts and are rebuildable. Springs are supplied with each kit, with spring-platform adjustment used to establish ride height. Rebound adjustment controls the resistance during damper extension after compression; it is a separate setting from ride height and does not change the spring rate.
Configuration differences
Street retains the original front and rear top mounts and the separate rear spring and damper arrangement.
Street Performance adds camber-adjustable front top mounts while keeping the original rear mounts and separate rear springs. The additional front mounting adjustment changes alignment capability, rather than adding a second damping control.
Club Racing includes camber-adjustable front and solid rear top mounts and converts the rear arrangement to a true coilover, carrying the spring on the rear damper. Separate Club Racing part numbers are used for the standard M2 and the M2 Competition/CS, so the vehicle choice matters even where the configurations share the same description.

Installation & setup: Ride height, wheel clearance and alignment should be checked as part of the installation. Where a car is equipped with factory Electronic Damper Control, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC for non-electronic coilovers where supported; a compatible KW EDC cancellation kit provides a separately available hardware alternative.

Shipping & Delivery
Dispatch Times

Import Duties & International Orders
International customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and clearance fees. These are not included in our prices and are outside of our control. Refusal or non-payment of import charges may result in return shipping, handling fees, and customs charges being deducted from any refund.
Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranty & Disclaimer
Warranty
Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty covering manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
