Product Description
AST 5300 Motorsport coilovers for the listed BMW F2X/F3X applications combine adjustable ride height with separate rebound, low-speed compression and high-speed compression adjustment. The range covers the stated M135i, M140i, 335i and 340i applications, together with M235i xDrive and M240i xDrive. Select the correct drivetrain and front mounting pattern as well as the model.
Damper design & adjustment: The system uses rebuildable high-pressure monotube dampers, inverted front struts and external reservoirs. The reservoirs carry the separate low-speed and high-speed compression controls; rebound is adjusted independently. These terms refer to damper velocity rather than road speed, allowing different compression inputs to be addressed without treating every movement alike.
Mounting, supplied equipment & reservoirs: Springs and camber-adjustable front top mounts are supplied. The front mounts provide an alignment adjustment independently of ride height and damping. Three-bolt pre-LCI and five-bolt LCI versions are distinct, as are rear-wheel-drive and xDrive kits. The mounting pattern should be checked against the car, particularly where suspension components have previously been changed. The remote reservoirs need secure positioning and hose routing that remains clear through steering lock and suspension travel. Reservoir mounting brackets are optional accessories. The installation should provide access to the adjusters without allowing reservoir hoses to contact tyres or surrounding components. Wheel clearance must be checked for the selected wheel and tyre specification.
Installation & setup: Where factory Electronic Damper Control is fitted, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC when installing non-electronic coilovers, where supported. A compatible KW EDC cancellation kit is a separately available hardware alternative. The replacement dampers remain manually controlled; the cancellation solution does not restore electronic damping adjustment.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
