Product Description
AST 5300 Motorsport coilovers for the BMW F80 M3, F82 M4 and F83 M4 combine adjustable ride height with three independently adjustable damping functions. Rebound, low-speed compression and high-speed compression can be set separately, providing a more detailed compression adjustment than the two-way 5200 system.
Damper design & adjustment: The high-pressure monotube dampers use inverted front struts and remote reservoirs. Both compression controls are located on the reservoirs, with rebound adjusted independently. Low-speed and high-speed refer to the damper's movement rather than road speed; the settings address different suspension inputs, not separate driving-speed modes. Rebound affects resistance during extension after compression.
Mounting, supplied equipment & reservoirs: Springs and camber-adjustable front top mounts are supplied. The camber adjustment changes the front alignment at the strut mounting and is distinct from damping and ride-height adjustment. RAC-B2102SD is the three-bolt pre-LCI application and RAC-B2106SD is the five-bolt LCI application. Drop links are included with both kits. AST's rebuildable construction allows the dampers to be serviced during their working life. External reservoirs need a secure mounting position and hose routing that remains clear throughout steering and suspension movement. Reservoir mounting brackets are optional accessories. Wheel and tyre clearance should be checked for the car's actual wheel specification and chosen ride height.
Installation & setup: For cars fitted with factory Electronic Damper Control, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC when installing non-electronic coilovers, where supported. A compatible KW EDC cancellation kit is a separately available hardware alternative. The replacement dampers remain manually adjusted. Final ride height and alignment should be established as part of the installation, before developing the damping settings around the car's intended use.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranty
Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty covering manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
