Product Description
AST 5300 Motorsport coilovers for the BMW F87 M2 and M2 Competition combine adjustable ride height with independent rebound, low-speed compression and high-speed compression controls. Separate kits are offered for the standard M2 and the stated M2 Competition/CS applications, matching the mounting specification to the vehicle.
Damper design & adjustment: The high-pressure monotube dampers use inverted front struts and external reservoirs. Low-speed and high-speed compression are adjusted separately at the reservoirs, with an independent rebound control. The speed distinction refers to damper movement, not the speed of the car. It allows different suspension inputs to be addressed when developing a setup, rather than adjusting all compression behaviour with one control.
Mounting, supplied equipment & reservoirs: Springs and camber-adjustable front top mounts are supplied, with rear top-mount provision determined by application. Front camber adjustment forms part of the wheel-alignment setup and is separate from both damping and ride height. The dampers are rebuildable for servicing during their working life. Drop links are included with both configurations offered here. RAC-B3104SD is the standard M2 kit, while RAC-B2104SD covers the listed M2 Competition/CS application. The external reservoirs require secure mounting and carefully planned hose routing, with adequate clearance throughout steering and suspension movement. Reservoir mounting brackets are optional accessories rather than standard kit contents.
Installation & setup: Final ride height, wheel clearance and alignment should be established before refining the damping settings. For vehicles equipped with factory Electronic Damper Control, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC when fitting non-electronic coilovers, where supported. A compatible KW EDC cancellation kit provides a separately available hardware alternative, without retaining electronic adjustment of the new dampers.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranty
Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty covering manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
