Product Description
AST 5300 Motorsport coilovers for the BMW G8X M2, M3 and M4 combine adjustable ride height with independent rebound, low-speed compression and high-speed compression adjustment. Separate rear-wheel-drive and xDrive kits are available, both with external reservoirs and standard front quick-disconnect couplings for these G8X applications.
Damper design & adjustment: The high-pressure monotube dampers use inverted front struts. The remote reservoirs carry separate low-speed and high-speed compression controls, while rebound is adjusted independently. Low-speed and high-speed describe damper velocity, not the road speed of the car. This allows different compression inputs to be addressed individually rather than with one overall compression setting.
Mounting, supplied equipment & reservoirs: Springs, camber-adjustable front top mounts and drop links are supplied. The camber adjustment changes front alignment at the upper strut mounting and is separate from damping and ride-height adjustment. AST's rebuildable damper construction allows servicing during the working life of the suspension, with mounting equipment matched to the selected application. Front quick-disconnect couplings are included on RAC-B2112SD and RAC-B2115SD. Reservoir mounting brackets are optional accessories. Reservoir position and hose routing must accommodate steering and suspension movement without rubbing or trapping hoses. Follow AST's installation guidance when handling the couplings and keep the connections clean.
Installation & setup: For cars equipped with factory Electronic Damper Control, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC when fitting these non-electronic coilovers, where supported. A compatible KW EDC cancellation kit is a separately available hardware alternative. Neither approach retains factory electronic damping adjustment. Ride height, alignment and wheel clearance should be checked as part of the installation before the three damping controls are used to refine the setup.

Dispatch Times

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranty
Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty covering manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
