Product Description
The AST Adjustable Lowering Spring Kit for the listed BMW F80 M3, F82 M4, F83 M4 and F87 M2 applications provides adjustable ride height while retaining the original dampers. Part number ASTALS-21-001 combines the replacement springs with height-adjustment hardware, offering an alternative to a complete coilover conversion when the original damper system is to remain in service.
The published adjustment range is 15–45mm lowering at the front and 10–30mm at the rear. Front and rear settings can be established within the permitted application range during installation. This differs from a fixed lowering spring, which provides the ride height associated with one spring specification rather than an adjustable installation height.
The kit changes the springs and their height-adjustment equipment; it does not supply replacement dampers or add new rebound and compression adjusters. Where the correct kit is fitted to a car with factory electronic damping, the original electronically controlled dampers are retained. EDC coding or a cancellation kit is therefore not a routine requirement for this spring-only installation.
Adjustment should be considered alongside available suspension travel, wheel and tyre clearance and the vehicle's alignment. The lowest possible setting is not automatically the appropriate one for a particular wheel specification or use. Final alignment should be checked at the chosen ride height.
Match the exact chassis and original suspension specification before ordering. The product is supplied as the application-specific spring and height-adjustment kit, using the original damper arrangement. The stated range belongs to ASTALS-21-001 and should not be substituted with figures from another AST adjustable spring kit.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.
