Product Description

AST lowering springs for the BMW E90 M3 and E92 M3 reduce ride height while retaining the original dampers. Two matched spring sets are offered: ASTLS-17-027 gives a stated 25mm front and 15mm rear reduction, while ASTLS-17-026 gives 30mm front and 20mm rear. Each option supplies the corresponding front and rear spring specification as one kit.

AST develops its lowering-spring range for original-equipment dampers, using cold-coiled construction and a progressive spring design. This is a spring replacement rather than a complete coilover conversion. The original dampers remain in service, and the kit does not add new compression or rebound controls.

The front and rear figures should be read together when choosing the kit. They describe the stated lowering of the selected spring set, not a threaded adjustment range that can be altered after fitting. Customers who need adjustable ride height should distinguish these fixed lowering springs from an adjustable spring system or complete coilover kit.

Where the car retains its original electronically controlled dampers, a correctly matched spring installation retains that damper system. EDC cancellation or coding is therefore not a routine requirement simply because lowering springs are being fitted. The original damper and top-mount arrangement should remain appropriate for the selected springs.

This listing covers the E90 saloon and E92 coupe M3 applications; it does not extend the spring sets to the E93 convertible. Final ride height depends on the original vehicle specification and condition. Installation should include wheel and tyre clearance checks and an alignment check at the new ride height.

Can the ride height be adjusted after installation?

These are fixed lowering springs, not a threaded height-adjustable spring kit. The selected part number determines the front and rear spring specification.

Do I need an EDC cancellation kit?

Not simply for fitting these springs. The correctly matched original dampers remain in service, including their electronic control where fitted.

Should the alignment be checked?

Yes. Check alignment and wheel and tyre clearance at the new ride height using the actual wheel specification fitted to the car.

Damaged Shipments

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.

Returns

Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.
