Product Description

This upgraded intake manifold has been engineered to deliver a major improvement in airflow, charge cooling and tuning flexibility over the factory setup. With a huge 127mm / 5” Bar & Plate core, the system offers a 62% increase in core size compared with OEM, helping reduce intake temperatures and support consistent performance under sustained load.

The densely packed fin design maximises heat transfer, while the improved core and end tank package delivers a tested airflow increase of 511 CFM at 0.05 bar, compared with 422 CFM for the OEM unit. During testing, intake temperatures were reduced to 28.5°C, compared with 33°C on the factory setup, demonstrating a measurable improvement in cooling efficiency.

The manifold uses CFD-designed cast aluminium end tanks to promote even air and water distribution across the core. This helps improve cooling consistency and reduce pressure drop, supporting more stable performance on tuned road cars, track builds and higher-output applications.

Integrated fuelling and methanol support make the manifold suitable for more advanced setups. An AN8 fuel rail is included, with compatibility for ID1050x-34-14 or Bosch EV14 short injectors. Built-in injector ports and plugs allow for optional port injection, while 1/8” NPT ports on each runner can be used for methanol or nitrous oxide. Three additional 1/8” NPT ports are also included on the outlet for sensor or vacuum reference use.

Thermal management has also been carefully considered. A thick thermal spacer helps reduce heat transfer from the cylinder head, using precision-milled grooves and 12 custom FKM O-rings to create a reliable seal without the need for sealants commonly used in competitor kits.

Despite the additional performance features, the manifold retains full oil filter access and is designed for plug-and-play fitment with no fabrication required. Why upgrade?

The OEM S58 inlet manifold combines a plastic intake plenum with a built-in water-to-air intercooler core. While effective in standard applications, it presents several key weaknesses:

Damaged Shipments

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.

Returns

Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.
