Product Description

Endless ME20 (CC40) rear brake pads in the RCP078 profile are intended for AP Racing Pro 5000R CP9449 four-piston calipers. The corresponding AP Racing pad family is CP3215D46, specified at approximately 16.8mm thick; RCP078 ME20 is commonly described as a nominal 17mm pad. Check the installed caliper and existing pad outline before ordering, particularly on bespoke brake conversions.

Originally developed for touring-car competition, the semi-metallic ME20 compound is designed for rally and circuit use. Endless describes a direct initial bite, stable brake response across the speed range and good modulation when braking hard into a corner, with resistance to high disc temperatures and relatively low pad and disc wear.

Endless specifies a reference friction coefficient of 0.35–0.40μ and a 150–800°C rotor temperature range. Compared with ME22, ME20 has a more immediate bite and greater resistance at high disc temperatures. Front and rear brake compound selection should take account of the vehicle’s actual brake configuration and balance.
