Product Description

The Girodisc 368mm 2-Piece Floating Rear Brake Discs / Rotors are a direct replacement rear brake upgrade for selected BMW M2, M3 and M4 models fitted with factory iron rear rotors.

Designed to replace the original 368mm rear iron rotors, the Girodisc system bolts directly to the vehicle with no modifications required and works with the OEM calipers. This allows the car to retain its factory brake balance and ABS functionality while benefiting from Girodisc’s motorsport-derived 2-piece floating rotor construction.

Each rotor uses a lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium centre hat paired with Girodisc’s proprietary cast iron disc. The curved vane design, derived from racing technology, acts like a centrifugal pump to improve cooling airflow through the disc, helping manage brake temperatures under demanding road and track use.

The floating mount system uses 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, allowing axial and radial float between the hat and disc. Anti-noise spring washers help minimise cold rattle while still allowing the rotor to expand with heat and self-centre between the pads.

Sold and priced as a rear axle pair, these rotors allow the cast iron disc rings to be replaced separately when worn.
