Product Description

The JQ Werks Madtrace GEN2 Podium system combines a quick-release steering hub with programmable controls for the compatible BMW E-Series models listed below. CAN-bus and LIN-bus integration retain supported factory functions and add vehicle-dependent control of functions such as lights, wipers and traction control.

The 6061-T6 aluminium hub has eight buttons, two joystick controls, three stored profiles and RevLED shift lights. Choose the correct vehicle/transmission and paddle arrangement, then add the accessories you need. Manual cars can use programmable paddles for functions other than gear changes.

The base system does not include a steering wheel rim. Compatible MOMO rims are optional. The OLED display fits in place of the standard horn cap.

Choose your configuration

Vehicle and transmission: select E90 / E92 / E93 M3 in manual or automatic/DCT form, or the E82 1M manual-specific hub. Check the vehicle compatibility list before ordering.
Paddle shifter: no paddles is for MT only. A single pair has one paddle per side (two total); dual pairs have two per side (four total). Both paddle arrangements suit supported MT and AT applications. Manual-car paddles operate programmable auxiliary functions; they do not provide paddle-operated gear changes.

Optional accessories

OLED Driver Information Display: an optional screen that replaces the standard Madtrace horn cap. It provides on-wheel button setup, profile switching, display/backlight adjustment and supported vehicle information. Select it only once; it is not part of the base hub price. View OLED display.
ENP finish kit: choose the matching single- or dual-paddle finish kit for electroless nickel-plated paddles, quick-release ring, knobs and hardware. Only the kit matching your selected paddles is offered; it changes their finish rather than adding another paddle pair. It is not offered with the no-paddles configuration. View ENP finish kit.
Steering wheel rim: choose a pictured MOMO wheel or Hub system only if you already have a compatible 6×70 mm rim. The Montecarlo is 350 mm in black Alcantara with black stitching; Mod.78 and flat-bottom Mod.88 are 320 mm in black suede. The rim is an additional product and is not included unless selected.

Included as standard: CAN-bus integration and RevLED shift lights. You do not need to buy the Clubsport CAN-bus accessory for a Podium system.

What you are ordering

The complete first-installation kit is supplied with its chassis adapter, quick release and installation hardware. Your selected paddle arrangement forms part of the system configuration. OLED, ENP finish kits and wheel rims are optional; selected accessories are additional products.

Choose the configuration that matches your chassis and transmission. Factory button functions depend on the vehicle specification; the compatibility list is not a claim of fitment to every model in the chassis family.

Is a steering wheel rim included?

No. The base hub system is supplied without a rim. Compatible MOMO wheels can be purchased separately.

Is the OLED display included?

OLED is optional and replaces the standard Madtrace horn cap. Choose it once with your system; the base hub price does not include the display. The OLED add-on is hidden when a selected configuration already includes it.

Can a manual car use paddles?

Yes. JQ Werks supports programming paddles for functions other than gear changes; the available functions depend on the vehicle.

What does single or dual paddle mean?

Single is one paddle on each side, two in total. Podium dual is two per side, four in total. Manual-car paddles can control supported auxiliary functions; they do not provide automatic gear changes.

Do the photographs show exactly what is included?

Some photographs show optional equipment. Order contents follow your selected configuration, selected rim and ticked accessories. The separate What’s included list describes the standard kit.

Which wheel should I choose?

Choose one of the pictured MOMO rims: Montecarlo 350 mm in black Alcantara with black stitching, Mod.78 320 mm in black suede, or flat-bottom Mod.88 320 mm in black suede. Hub system only is for customers supplying their own compatible 6×70 mm rim.

Do I need the optional Clubsport CAN-bus module?

No. Podium includes CAN-bus integration and RevLED shift lights as standard. Vehicle functions depend on the model and equipment; check the linked JQ Werks function list.

Which ENP finish kit should I choose?

The single-paddle kit matches a single paddle pair; the dual-paddle kit matches four paddles. The matching kit is shown automatically. ENP changes the finish of the paddles, quick-release ring, knobs and hardware and is not an additional paddle set.

Dispatch Times

Import Duties & International Orders

International customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and clearance fees. These are not included in our prices and are outside of our control. Refusal or non-payment of import charges may result in return shipping, handling fees, and customs charges being deducted from any refund.

Damaged Shipments

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.

Returns

Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranty

Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty covering manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.

Fitment & Installation

Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
