Product Description
MOTON 1-Way Club Racer coilovers for the BMW E82 1M and E9X M3 combine adjustable ride height with single-adjustable rebound damping. The kit uses MOTON's non-inverted monotube construction, providing a manually adjustable suspension system without introducing separate low-speed and high-speed compression controls.
Damper design & adjustment: Rebound adjustment changes the resistance as the damper extends after compression. It allows the return movement of the suspension to be tuned while the spring specification remains unchanged. Ride height is established separately through the spring platforms, so damper adjustment and lowering should be treated as different parts of the setup.
Mounting, supplied equipment & servicing: Springs are supplied with the kit. MOTON specifies camber-adjustable front top mounts and rear top mounts according to application. The front camber adjustment acts at the upper strut mounting and forms part of the wheel-alignment setup; it is not a second damping control. Drop links are included with part number M 505 168SD. The dampers are rebuildable, allowing servicing during their working life. The final setup should take account of the car's wheel and tyre specification, installed ride height and intended use. Wheel clearance must be checked through steering and suspension movement rather than assumed from chassis fitment alone.
Installation & setup: For cars fitted with factory Electronic Damper Control, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC when fitting non-electronic coilovers, where supported. A compatible KW EDC cancellation kit provides a separately available hardware alternative. The MOTON dampers remain manually adjusted rather than retaining factory electronic control. Installation should include ride-height and alignment setup before the rebound settings are refined.
Optional MOTON Air Cup Lift System: MOTON specifies approximately 40mm of temporary front-end lift for compatible installations. The clearance achieved can vary with the vehicle and suspension setup. Select With Air Cup to include the MOTON Pneumatic Air Cup Lift System (part number 90AC-061-A3-022ST) with your selected coilovers. Suitable for MOTON suspension with 22mm damper shafts; confirm installation clearance before ordering. Select Without Air Cup for the coilovers only.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
