Product Description
MOTON 1-Way Club Racer coilovers for the BMW F87 M2 and M2 Competition combine adjustable ride height with single-adjustable rebound damping. The kit uses MOTON's non-inverted monotube construction and is supplied under part number M 505 182SD for the applications listed.
Damper design & adjustment: The rebound control changes resistance as the damper returns to extension after compression. It provides a direct adjustment of that part of the suspension response without adding separate compression controls. Ride-height adjustment acts through the spring platforms and serves a different purpose: changing the rebound setting does not change the spring rate or the installed height.
Mounting, supplied equipment & servicing: Springs and camber-adjustable front top mounts are supplied, with rear top-mount provision according to application. Front camber adjustment changes alignment at the upper strut mounting independently of damping and height adjustment. Drop links are included. The mounting and spring specification form part of the kit rather than optional extra selector choices. The dampers are rebuildable for servicing during their working life. Final ride height and alignment should be established together, with wheel and tyre clearance checked throughout suspension movement. Chassis compatibility does not guarantee clearance for every aftermarket wheel width, offset or tyre combination.
Installation & setup: Where the vehicle is equipped with factory Electronic Damper Control, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC when fitting non-electronic coilovers, where supported for the vehicle. A compatible KW EDC cancellation kit is a separately available hardware alternative. The replacement dampers remain manually adjusted, so neither approach preserves electronic adjustment of their damping characteristics.
Optional MOTON Air Cup Lift System: MOTON specifies approximately 40mm of temporary front-end lift for compatible installations. The clearance achieved can vary with the vehicle and suspension setup. Select With Air Cup to include the MOTON Pneumatic Air Cup Lift System (part number 90AC-061-A3-022ST) with your selected coilovers. Suitable for MOTON suspension with 22mm damper shafts; confirm installation clearance before ordering. Select Without Air Cup for the coilovers only.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
