Product Description
MOTON 1-Way Club Racer coilovers for the BMW G8X M2, M3 and M4 combine adjustable ride height with single-adjustable rebound damping. Separate rear-wheel-drive and xDrive kits are offered, using MOTON's non-inverted monotube suspension architecture.
Damper design & adjustment: The rebound control changes resistance as the damper extends after compression. This provides a direct means of tuning the suspension's return movement without adding separate compression controls. Ride height is established through the spring platforms and should be set alongside alignment and wheel clearance, rather than being treated as the same adjustment as damper firmness.
Mounting, supplied equipment & servicing: Springs and camber-adjustable front top mounts are supplied, with rear mount provision according to the application. Front camber adjustment changes the alignment at the upper strut mounting independently of damping and ride-height adjustment. Drop links are included with both kits. M 505 184SD is the rear-wheel-drive version and M 505 187SD is the xDrive version for the applications listed. The dampers are rebuildable, allowing servicing during their working life. Installation should include clearance checks with the actual wheel and tyre specification through steering and suspension movement. A suspension kit that fits the chassis does not automatically clear every wider aftermarket wheel or tyre.
Installation & setup: For vehicles fitted with factory Electronic Damper Control, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC when fitting non-electronic coilovers, where supported for the vehicle. A compatible KW EDC cancellation kit provides a separately available hardware alternative. The new dampers remain manually adjusted; electronic damping adjustment is not retained. Final ride height and alignment should be established before refining the rebound settings for the car's intended use.
Optional MOTON Air Cup Lift System: MOTON specifies approximately 40mm of temporary front-end lift for compatible installations. The clearance achieved can vary with the vehicle and suspension setup. Select With Air Cup to include the MOTON Pneumatic Air Cup Lift System (part number 90AC-061-A3-022ST) with your selected coilovers. Suitable for MOTON suspension with 22mm damper shafts; confirm installation clearance before ordering. Select Without Air Cup for the coilovers only.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
