Product Description
MOTON 3-Way coilovers for the BMW E82 135i combine adjustable ride height with independent rebound, low-speed compression and high-speed compression adjustment. The external-reservoir system offers separate control over different compression inputs, with the confirmed separate rear spring and damper layout.
Damper design & adjustment: The non-inverted monotube dampers use remote reservoirs carrying the two compression controls. Low-speed and high-speed describe damper velocity, not the road speed of the car. Rebound is adjusted separately and governs resistance as the damper extends after compression. The three controls should be developed as part of a complete setup rather than simply set to maximum firmness.
Configuration & supplied equipment: The standard kit retains separate rear spring and damper mounting positions with front coilovers. It is listed under manufacturer part number M 505 140SD. Springs are supplied, with camber-adjustable front top mounts and application-dependent rear mounts. The dampers are rebuildable for servicing during their working life. Drop links and front quick-disconnect couplings are included with both kits. Reservoir mounting brackets are optional accessories rather than standard kit contents.
Installation & setup: Reservoir position and hose routing should be planned before fitting, with clearance throughout steering and suspension movement and access to the compression controls. Follow the manufacturer's guidance when handling the couplings. Final ride height, alignment and wheel clearance should be established using the actual wheel and tyre combination before the damper settings are refined for the car's intended use.
Optional MOTON Air Cup Lift System: MOTON specifies approximately 40mm of temporary front-end lift for compatible installations. The clearance achieved can vary with the vehicle and suspension setup. Select With Air Cup to include the MOTON Pneumatic Air Cup Lift System (part number 90AC-061-A3-022ST) with this coilover kit. Suitable for MOTON suspension with 22mm damper shafts; confirm installation clearance before ordering. Select Without Air Cup for the coilovers only.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
