Product Description
MOTON 3-Way coilovers for the BMW E82 1M and E9X M3 combine adjustable ride height with independent rebound, low-speed compression and high-speed compression adjustment. External-reservoir kits are available with either separate rear springs and dampers or true rear coilovers, giving a physical rear-layout choice alongside the three-way damping system.
Damper design & adjustment: The non-inverted monotube dampers use remote reservoirs with separate low-speed and high-speed compression controls. These terms describe damper movement rather than road speed, allowing different suspension inputs to be addressed independently. Rebound controls resistance as the damper returns to extension after compression and has its own adjustment.
Configuration & supplied equipment: The Separate Spring & Damper configuration keeps the rear spring and damper in separate positions. The Rear Coilover configuration carries the spring on the rear damper. Both versions use front coilovers. The layout affects the mounting arrangement and should be selected for the intended installation, rather than interpreted as a difference in damper firmness. Springs are supplied, with camber-adjustable front top mounts and rear mount provision according to application. MOTON's rebuildable construction allows servicing during the working life of the dampers. Drop links are included with both configurations. Reservoir mounting brackets are optional accessories; reservoir position and hose clearance should be planned before the kit is installed.
Installation & setup: For cars fitted with factory Electronic Damper Control, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC when fitting non-electronic coilovers, where supported. A compatible KW EDC cancellation kit is a separately available hardware alternative. The new dampers remain manually controlled. Ride height, alignment, wheel clearance and reservoir-hose routing should be checked as part of the installation before the damping settings are refined.
Optional MOTON Air Cup Lift System: MOTON specifies approximately 40mm of temporary front-end lift for compatible installations. The clearance achieved can vary with the vehicle and suspension setup. Select With Air Cup to include the MOTON Pneumatic Air Cup Lift System (part number 90AC-061-A3-022ST) with your selected coilovers. Suitable for MOTON suspension with 22mm damper shafts; confirm installation clearance before ordering. Select Without Air Cup for the coilovers only.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
