Product Description
MOTON 3-Way coilovers for the listed BMW F2X/F3X M135i, M140i, 335i and 340i rear-wheel-drive applications combine adjustable ride height with independent rebound, low-speed compression and high-speed compression adjustment. The range separates three-bolt pre-LCI and five-bolt LCI mounting versions, with a choice of rear spring layout.
Damper design & adjustment: The non-inverted monotube dampers use external reservoirs carrying separate low-speed and high-speed compression controls. Low-speed and high-speed refer to damper velocity, not vehicle speed. Rebound governs resistance as the damper extends after compression. Separating these controls allows different suspension inputs to be addressed without treating every movement as one overall firmness setting.
Configuration & supplied equipment: The Separate Spring & Damper version retains separate rear spring and damper positions. The Rear Coilover version places each rear spring on its damper. Both use front coilovers. The rear-layout choice is therefore a physical installation difference, while the mounting-pattern choice ensures the front top mounts match the car. Springs and camber-adjustable front top mounts are supplied, with rear mount provision according to application. The dampers are rebuildable for servicing during their working life. Drop links and front quick-disconnect couplings are included with these external-reservoir kits. Reservoir mounting brackets are optional accessories, and hoses must remain clear throughout steering and suspension travel.
Installation & setup: For cars equipped with factory Electronic Damper Control, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC when fitting non-electronic coilovers, where supported. A compatible KW EDC cancellation kit is a separately available hardware alternative. Final ride height, alignment and wheel clearance should be established during installation before developing the damping settings around the car's intended use.
Optional MOTON Air Cup Lift System: MOTON specifies approximately 40mm of temporary front-end lift for compatible installations. The clearance achieved can vary with the vehicle and suspension setup. Select With Air Cup to include the MOTON Pneumatic Air Cup Lift System (part number 90AC-061-A3-022ST) with your selected coilovers. Suitable for MOTON suspension with 22mm damper shafts; confirm installation clearance before ordering. Select Without Air Cup for the coilovers only.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty covering manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
