Product Description
MOTON 3-Way coilovers for the BMW G8X M2, M3 and M4 combine adjustable ride height with independent rebound, low-speed compression and high-speed compression adjustment. Both drivetrain versions use external reservoirs and front and true rear coilovers, so the relevant product choice is rear-wheel drive or xDrive.
Damper design & adjustment: The non-inverted monotube dampers use remote reservoirs with separate low-speed and high-speed compression controls. These terms describe damper movement rather than the road speed of the car. Rebound is adjusted independently and governs resistance as the damper returns to extension after compression. The three-way arrangement allows different aspects of the suspension response to be developed separately.
Configuration & supplied equipment: The rear springs sit on the rear dampers in a true coilover arrangement, rather than being mounted separately in the suspension. Springs are supplied with the system, together with camber-adjustable front top mounts and application-specific mounting equipment. Drop links are included with both drivetrain versions. The dampers are rebuildable for servicing during their working life. The xDrive kit, M 505 189SD, includes front quick-disconnect couplings. Reservoir mounting brackets are optional accessories. Reservoir position and hose routing should be planned to provide secure mounting, adjuster access and adequate clearance throughout steering and suspension movement. Couplings should be handled according to the manufacturer's installation guidance.
Installation & setup: For cars fitted with factory Electronic Damper Control, Clubsport Garage recommends coding out EDC when fitting non-electronic coilovers, where supported. A compatible KW EDC cancellation kit is a separately available hardware alternative. The replacement dampers do not retain electronic adjustment. Final ride height, alignment and wheel clearance should be established together before refining the damping settings.
Optional MOTON Air Cup Lift System: MOTON specifies approximately 40mm of temporary front-end lift for compatible installations. The clearance achieved can vary with the vehicle and suspension setup. Select With Air Cup to include the MOTON Pneumatic Air Cup Lift System (part number 90AC-061-A3-022ST) with your selected coilovers. Suitable for MOTON suspension with 22mm damper shafts; confirm installation clearance before ordering. Select Without Air Cup for the coilovers only.

Damaged Shipments
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier. If damage is discovered after opening, contact us immediately with photos. Do not install damaged items, as installation voids courier claims and return eligibility.
Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.

Warranty
Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty covering manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover wear and tear, improper installation, misuse or neglect, track use, competition or racing environments, labour costs, vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential loss. Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer, not Clubsport Garage. Items must be returned for inspection at the customer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
Fitment & Installation
Many products are aftermarket components and may require professional installation or minor adjustment. Perfect OEM-level fitment cannot be guaranteed. Professional installation by an experienced workshop is strongly recommended. Installed or used items cannot be returned.
