MOTON Front Control Arm Bearings – BMW E82 1M & E9X M3
Product Description
MOTON front control-arm bearings for the BMW E82 1M and E9X M3 replace the original rubber silent-block mounting with a bearing assembly. This reduces deflection and unwanted movement at the control-arm joint, addressing a different part of the suspension from the springs and dampers.
The assemblies use 7075 aluminium, MOTON's bespoke bearings and stainless-steel collar bushes. They replace the mounting interface in the compatible original arms rather than supplying complete new control arms. The change does not provide ride-height adjustment or alter the spring rate.
Part number 76DB-E9x-A3-101S is supplied as a set of two. The associated original-arm references are 31102283575 for the left arm and 31102283576 for the right arm. These are identification references for the application, not additional components supplied with the bearing kit.
The E82 1M and E90/E92/E93 M3 applications should be distinguished from other BMW 1 Series and 3 Series models using different suspension arms. The actual arm specification should be checked, especially on a car that has already had aftermarket arms or a suspension conversion fitted.
Installation should follow the appropriate procedure for the bearing and arm assembly, with the suspension and alignment checked afterwards. The product is a mounting-joint upgrade for compatible arms, not a replacement for worn or damaged arm structures and not a complete spring-and-damper package.

Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of approval, in unused/uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Some items, including special-order, built-to-order, used, installed, or modified parts, are non-returnable.
