Each Nitron NTR R1 kit is supplied with carefully selected spring rates and damper lengths, based on extensive development and track testing. These setups provide exceptional balance and control for both fast road and track-focused applications.

Fast Road Setup

Developed for spirited road use with occasional trackdays.

• Front: 120 N/mm

• Rear (Divorced): 130 N/mm

• Rear (True Coilover): 70 N/mm

Track Setup

Engineered for greater control under high loads, with reduced body roll and improved chassis stability.

• Front: 140 N/mm

• Rear (Divorced): 160 N/mm

• Rear (True Coilover): 90 N/mm

True rear spring rates appear lower due to different mounting ratios and spring positions – overall stiffness is comparable.

True vs Divorced Rear – What’s the Difference?

True Rear Setup

Combines the spring and damper into a single coilover unit. Offers reduced weight and sharper response, commonly preferred for track-focused builds.

Divorced Rear Setup

Retains the OEM-style layout with a separate spring and damper. Straightforward installation and geometry retention.

Which Should You Choose?

• Choose True Rear for maximum handling performance and adjustability

• Choose Divorced Rear if you prefer the standard layout or want a more OEM-style installation
