The R3 offers 3-way independent damping adjustment – rebound, fast compression, and slow compression – giving you full command over chassis behaviour, grip, and ride quality.

Nitron’s recommended spring rates for the original F87 M2 have been carefully selected to offer superb control, stability, and predictability for both road and track use.

Fast Road Setup

Tuned for spirited road driving with the capability for occasional trackdays.

  • Front: 120 N/mm

  • Rear (Divorced): 130 N/mm

  • Rear (True Coilover): 70 N/mm

Track Setup

Stiffer spring rates for track and high-performance builds, offering increased grip and reduced roll under load.

  • Front: 140 N/mm

  • Rear (Divorced): 160 N/mm

  • Rear (True Coilover): 90 N/mm

    True rear spring rates appear lower due to different mounting ratios and spring positions – overall stiffness is comparable.


Custom Options Available

Custom spring rates, spring lengths, and damper lengths are available on request. Contact us before ordering to tailor the kit to your specific build.


Optional Quick-Connect Dry Break Fittings (+£895)

Upgrade to quick-connect dry break fittings for the remote reservoirs to allow relocation inside the vehicle (e.g. cabin or engine bay) without fluid loss.

  • Protection from heat, dirt, and road debris

  • Cleaner, motorsport-style installation

  • Improved thermal performance by isolating reservoirs from heat sources
