The Nürburgring Edition is tailored specifically for track-focused drivers, with 10 push buttons and 2 rotary switches that provide accessible control over key functions. Designed for drivers using racing seats and safety gear, this steering wheel relocates commonly used controls to improve accessibility and responsiveness on the track:

• Take-over Flashing - Engage flashing with a single button press.
• Turn Indicators and Wiper Controls - Turn indicators and wipers are moved to the wheel for easy reach in race setups.
• DTC Control - Control Dynamic Traction Control with a dedicated button, accessible even with helmets, gloves, and HANS.
• Code 60 Speed Limiter - Instantly set speed to 60 km/h with the limiter function for track-specific situations.
• Hazard Lights - Relocated hazard light button, also usable for custom functions like radio or dash control.

These functions integrate seamlessly with your BMW F8X’s electronics, allowing use of OEM buttons and stalks alongside the KMP wheel. Additional wiring is required for full functionality, with all connectors, wiring, and installation instructions included in the kit.

The Nürburgring Edition includes laser-etched, illuminated push buttons for clear identification, even in low light, with some buttons offering multi-function capability (long & short press):

*The Hazard Light button can be reprogrammed as a “free-to-use” button, often used for functions like radio communication, camera control, or drink system.

Finishes in Suede, Alcantara, or Leather

The standard options are high quality suede, alcantara or leather with a yellow 12 o'clock marker and black stitching. For added personalisation, drivers can choose custom options such as the 12 o’clock marker, stitching colour and grey alcantara for a small additional cost (£60).

For example on our own steering wheel we choose Grey 9002 Alcantara, BMW M Tri Colour stitching and removed the 12 o'clock marker. Options are subject to availability by KMP.

High-Tactile Magnetic Paddles and Illuminated Buttons

KMP’s signature carbon fibre magnetic paddles provide precise shifts with a high-tactile response. The laser-etched, illuminated push buttons dim with interior lighting for optimal clarity.

Installation and Optional Accessories

Please Note: All adapter/boss options still retain factory steering column adjustment.
